About Us

What is Feeding Tiny Minds?

Feeding Tiny Minds is a Community Interest Company, based in Gloucester, UK.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, aiming to bridge the gap to skilled support and reduce food insecurity for infants by creating affordable, inclusive and fit-for purpose support and education that meets you where you're at.

Through a combination of online resources such as guides, courses and videos, as well as in-person services such as drop-in clinics, workshops, classes and groups, we want to provide something for everyone, whatever they need. We'll cover topics such as breastfeeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, sleep, development and anything else to relating to infancy and parenting to become a one-stop-shop for knowledge and support.

Alongside our support for parents and caregivers, we'll also be providing professional training courses aimed at perinatal practitioners and health care providers.

We hope to bridge the gap, remove barriers and meet people where they're at, no matter their circumstances.

Our Story

Feeding Tiny Minds CIC was founded by Victoria in 2024. When her daughter was born in October '23, she gained first-hand experience of the barriers families face when trying to access support for them and their babies.

None of the support options offered were skilled enough to understand the difficulties she was experiencing, local support groups were 25 minutes away or back at the hospital (which is the last place she wanted to be!) and private support was unaffordable. She felt entirely alone and suffered in agony for weeks on end, as did her daughter who's tongue-tie went undiagnosed and her reflux medicted without so much as an examination or feeding assessment.

As a first-time, newly postpartum, AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) woman, she had to solve her own problems. One of her strengths is her ability to research and find information, so she used her thirst for knowledge to troubleshoot and advocate for herself and her daughter until she finally got the support she deserved.

This ignited a fire in her and she became determined to do what she could to stop others having the same experience.

And so, Feeding Tiny Minds was born...

Many mainstream free infant support services have an upper age limit, require you to travel to them or have limited options. Private services often come with a premium price tag, which is entirely reasonable given the level of training and skill provided, but are inaccessible to most.

Affordable, inclusive and fit-for-purpose support options are few and far between when they should be the norm.

We want to change that.
